Even though the road to peace for Silver was not an easy one, it was also filled with love, loyalty, commitment, and hope.

Logan and Silver together were the absolute best part of this book. They were strong, undivided, super hot, and there were no doubts as to their feelings for each other. In fact, they only grew closer as they solidified their bond even more.

In contrast with the previous book, Silver was more of a team player, with her expected independent streak very much intact. All loose ends were neatly tied up in an exciting, nail-biting sequence of events. There were some surprise twists with the expected outcomes. I loved that Justus got his own happy ending too. And we were left with so much optimism for the future for everyone after each of our beloved characters had survived their own adversities.

I am very sad to leave Logan and Silver behind, but I will definitely be going down the rabbit hole of the rest of the Mageriverse. There are two more books in this series, even though Shine provides a satisfactory conclusion for all the conflict that had plagued Silver and her friends up to this point.

This is a compelling series if you like urban fantasy, magic, and soul mates. It is definitely best to read the books in order.

Great ending

This wraps up the series. most loose ends are taken care of. We finally get to see what powers a unique has. Everything that happened less to a satisfying ending. Read the seven series if you want to know more. I would recommend it.

This is the last book focused on Silver and Logan. Drama was high in this novel, and we briefly meet Sunny's brother that was introduced in Closer. The future of Justus and Paige is tied up in a neat little bow. Relationships are made, broken, and tested in this novel. The ending seemed to drag on as the author tried to address the future of everyone.

This covered a lot, lots of little things here and there and I kinda felt Dannika was rushing to wrap the series up, HOWEVER, I still loved it. I listened to the SEVEN series first which didn’t matter. Still have to listen to The Gift and Risk and then will start Crossbreed and OMG it Christian and thank goodness the narrator is Nicole, she is fantastic

BRILLIANT! BRILLIANT! BRILLIANT!

Dannika Dark is one of my top favorite authors. I have not yet read a book by her than I haven't liked. Once again I was brought to tears.

The face off with Nero was very well done but I feel the book went on a bit. I did eventually warm to Logan but the stupid things that Silver did throughout the series bugged me.

In the short span of a year, Silver has gone from becoming a Mage to discovering the truth about her unique genetics. Logan Cross went from her mortal enemy to her immortal lover, but a threat is fast approaching like an inevitable storm. Attacks are underway against the Mageri, and one man is behind it—an elusive foe who is an unstoppable force. Nero is not Silver’s only concern as someone close to her is arrested for treason. Amid chaos, Silver discovers she cannot protect everyone from the wrath of fate, including her own Ghuardian.

Finally Justice finds his love.
