“Crap, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"I'm thinking we have about fifteen vampires and no blood," Claire said. "Is that it?"
"No, I was thinking we're out of chips. Of course that's what I was thinking.”

Bitchy Monica was back but then she kind of became nicer at the end of the book. Which most likely has to deal with the fact that she was basically sacrificed to Bishop and didn't die. But then saw a whole bunch of people die at this death ball that she attended.

Claire still kind of made annoying choices that most likely put her life in danger. But it's all good because she got Shane at the end, right?!? Other than that, I thought it was pretty cool that she could get the house to kick vampires out.

Speaking of annoying, Claire's parents were exactly that and that is all I have to say about them.
Then there's the whole Michael thing and how Eve, Shane, and Claire all thought that he could magically protect him for the most powerful vampires ever...

You people are all dumb as shit if you think the youngest vampire ever made can take on some ancient piece of shit. DUMB. However, it all worked out for them since the vampires that didn't vow loyalty to Bishop fought him and his vampire henchmen at the ball. Oh, and they found out that Bishop's blood is the cure for all of the vampires in Morganville.

Then shit hit the fan even more at the end of this book when Amelie was stabbed, then healed, then came up with a plan to get Bishop and his vampire gang from hell out of the town. Oh and Shane is just the biggest piece of human bait ever. Claire knows it. Amelie knows it. BUT does Shane know it?!?! I bet he does. Which mean humans are just so freaking stupid in this town. I get that I didn't like Shane earlier in the book...and maybe in like half of this book too, but I assume people would realize whether or not they were bait, right?

Spoiler
Feast of Fools was a pretty good book. Pretty sure the only character I really hated was Ysandre. The bitch needed to die a very painful death. So I approve of the holy water being dumped on her.![](https://media.giphy.com/media/i7Mtc0aWPTZyo/giphy.gif)

Claire’s parents have moved into town and want her to move in with them; however, (on top of her worrying about their safety in a place filled with vampires) she has to tell them that she wants to stay in the Glass house instead. However an ancient vampire, Mr Bishop, has arrived in town and is having a party and Morganville will soon realise that the vampires they already have are not as bad as they could be. This has everything I love in a Morganville book from the brilliant characters and how they react together to the fantastic plot.

Quick read! Another nailbiting episode with another cliffhanger ending. Although this time the cliffhanger wasn't as big, IMO. Clare is really starting to get some backbone and this book starred her more than the other 3 teens living in the Glass house. I can't wait for the next book.

This must be my least favorite in the series so far. It took forever to come to a point and was really slow and drawn out right up until the end where a big dramatic climax came together. It was as if the whole story was crammed into the last few pages. Hopefully the next book will be better

It seems the action never stops in Morganville. And what's more, it never stops getting more intense either.
Claire thought that the cold ice queen Amelie was the scariest vampire in town. But now her father, Bishop, and his two servants have arrived, and Claire is forced to seriously rethink that notion.
Bishop plays by no rules, and holds not even the tiniest shred of humanity or fair play in his nature. He has come to Morganville to stir things up...and he will succeed. Because the town is holding a ceremonial feast to welcome him, where vampires are required to bring human dates. But behind the ceremony lurks deadly intent...and Claire and the others have to find out what it is before it's too late.
In this riveting and suspenseful continuation of this great vampire series, the delicate chess game between human and vampire in Morganville is about to be overturned. And the most shocking thing about Bishop's frightening arrival may be that it places the town's living and the undead on the same side.
Just like the others, this book had almost nonstop action, but that didn't stop it from being great character-wise as well. Everyone else gets a bit more developed, and it's easy to like almost everyone, from Claire's fiercely loyal Glass House friends to the always ambiguous but oddly endearing vampires like Myrnin, Amelie, Oliver, and Sam. And from the continuing cliffhanger ending, it's easy to see this is just the beginning of something much bigger.
