feast of fools is the fourth installment of the morganville vampires series...i have to say that rachel caine has done it again...i mean the way she starts and ends every book is just fantastic...this book starts like the other ones, in the middle of the action where you hold your breath and can't wait to see what happens..it's amazing how the characters deal with the difficulties they face and how they manage to keep their friendship strong after all the things that happened...in this book...claire has to deal AGAIN with her parents who are moving to morganville..OMG...so you can imagine what happens..they told her again and again and again to go and live with them...seriously guys give her a break...the pressure is so so much and if i was her, i was going to explode...but she thankfully has a lot of patience and that's really cool...the book was spectacular but the thing that annoys me the most,is they way everyone thinks claire is a baby and she can't do anything by herself and she needs permission for every single thing she's about to do..that's so not fair because her parents don't trust her and their behavior is unacceptable...also the way they think that shane is someone who is going to take advantage of their daughter and do whatever he wants with her is really wrong...they should give the guy a chance...best part? where claire throws out of the glass house ysandre and francois...it was fantastic but shane is going to the feast with ysandre and michael goes with monica (ewwww)if i was eve i was really going to slap him...and eve finally goes with oliver so claire is all alone...but when she visits myrnin, they decide to go to the masquerade party together and what happens next is complicated...now...the cure is actually mr bishop's blood and i have a really big question...how are they going to take his blood and save the vampires????can't wait for the next books.....

"Amelie. Has. A. Father." Kiara said those words as if they were more like a statement then anything else. I can't believe this! And he wants her dead....? What kind of father is that?she tought. Then shes Michael and eveything disappears... Oh, Mihael is soooooooo cute. Too bad hes Eve's... Then her mind tunes back too important things.... "Does Myrnin's have a girlfriend?" she thought out loud and everyone turns to her. She had to say something fast "Cause maybe thats why hes so lonly. She probably left him or died, and now he probably doesn't want to find love again." she lied quickly so no one could find out about her secret crush on him.

This was actually the first book from this series that I read, which I would not suggest. OK, so I actually didn't read it at first, I mostly flipped through it, and saw the last page where Claire was thinking about how they made Shane the bait. I said, "Ugh, they're going to kill him off, BOOOO!" Even though I didn't actually know who he was. I put it down and refused to read it. My little sister shoved Glass houses (The first book in the series) into my hands and demanded that I read it. Then I really got hooked. So, I worked my way through the first three books and FINALLY started this book, and understood what was going on, but I still didn't like it as well as the others. Lesson of the day? START FROM THE BEGINING OF THE SERIES! Or else you might end up missing out on a great book OR you will be VERY confused.
Re-Read October 2019
Bishop: What about you Myrnin? Will you swear?
Myrnin: Yes. *Starts to cuss*
Me: OMG YAAASSSS.
Re-reading this brought back all the feelings I felt when I mistakenly picked up the book oh so many years ago and I was stressing out over Shane. But it was also pretty cool, because I noticed things this time that I didn't my first (or second, or third) read through.
