First ever Tintin, how cute!

Not my favorite Tintin, but still very enjoyable.

Left a crocodile to die and later a massacre of crocs,killed an innocent monkey for trick,Massacre of antelopes for humor,true colonial environment showing the white superiority over blacks blatantly.
A boa constrictor in Africa?? And that’s killed too,elephant hunting for their tusks.Blowing up a Rhinoceros with dynamite for its horn,killing a wild buffalo because it tried to defend itself.
Although the depiction of soviets was bad as well,it had a bit comical sense to it but this one is just not for this age,this is a twisted one & it could not have aged badly.

I guess i read the original version in black and white with no censoring so i am not sure what has been done to rectify it in later releases but i don't think they can salvage it.

I love Tintin but this one was pretty painful to read ngl

La relectura de Tintín de momento no le está sentando bien. De momento es más infantil y falto de contenido de lo que recordaba de adolescente. Gráficamente es precioso. Pero poco más.

Just read the most racist and ridiculous of all the tintin comics. Very bad.
