Not sure how the prologue related to the book. Otherwise, contrived in a scary movie way.

I do not know why I wasted my time reading this. The description was seemingly that of a murder mystery/psychological thriller but I was anything but thrilled. Way too much lust, not enough suspense.

This book definitely took its time getting to the good part. It's a slow build up but then last 3rd of the book made up for it. The main character came across as stupid. Actually both wives came across dumb, the 2nd one was also shallow. All in all, I enjoyed the story telling and will read more from this author.

I found it wasn't a genre I particularly enjoyed. I didn't connect with any of the characters, so I felt it lacked emotional depth. However, the writing flowed well, allowing me to complete it. The main character's expectation that her brother would support her was what really turned me off.
