Was ok, not as good as the other books. Mainly because I don't really care nor am invested at all in Bay's mother or her aunts.
funny
lighthearted
mysterious
medium-paced

A cute story told from the perspective of Bay's mother. It's nice to see the main three as children, teaming up with Tillie.
I really, really loved this flashback to the girls' teen years. I liked seeing their personalities blooming from their parents' points of view. I really enjoyed seeing Bay and Chief Terry together. Their relationship is referenced a lot in the other books so I really enjoyed the vignette we got to see of them in this short. I hope there's more of them to come :)
It was all of the things you've come to expect from a Midwest Witch book, with a little less angst and little more heart, even though you'd expect the reverse.

This is one of my absolute favourite stories and I’ve read it several times now. It’s the one with the Summer Camp. And who doesn’t like a good Karma Curse?
medium-paced

Loved this one, told from Winnie's POV, but I cant say more without spoilers. just loved this one!
Okay, after reading this for a second time, I guess I can say a bit more without spoilering (still squeeling though). This short is told from Winnie's POV and while it features the whole family, we do learn most about Bay here. It is really sweet (and snarky, lets not forget snarky! Aunt Tilly is there after all!) and for those who love Chief Terry, they will enjoy this especially.
