I had high hopes for this book - I LOVED the Grant County series and reread them all several times; I was looking forward to "catching up" with Sarah.

This felt so standard and meh though. I'm normally a massive KS fine, but this just didn't hit the mark for me.

This book is so messed up, although Will Trent in general is not for the faint of heart. Very good, though.

Another installment in the Karin Slaughter era of my thriller reading arc and she did not disappoint. I think even more than the actual mystery at hand, I loved how she developed Will and Faith in this book. I am excited to see Will move on from Angie (aka the WOAT) and get a new love interest. Will be continuing with this series and maybe starting the Grant County series as well.
