I've read this before [b:Every Day|13262783|Every Day|David Levithan|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1356993940s/13262783.jpg|18464379] so it caught my interest, the concept is quite amazing.

First read this series shortly before Someday came out! I’d forgotten much of this series so I’m giving it a reread this year (-:

My favorite part of Every Day was the different lives A borrowed, and this short book is just that! Don’t get me wrong, I liked the romance in Every Day well enough, but its absence in Six Earlier Days urges the reader to reflect deeper on what it means to lead the kind of life that A leads. I’d absolutely love to read more days of A’s life just like this.

Didn’t really add anything to the story... but it was interesting.

I find the whole premise of this series interesting, so I enjoyed this short snippet of other days of A’s life. You could easily read this before or after Every Day, but it’s interesting to think about how you might handle some of the positions A is put in and how he feels he shouldn’t make any impactful decisions in the person’s life.
8 of 10, 5 of 5. So short and not much of a plot but if you enjoyed Every Day, it’s worth a read.

I’m not a fan of short stories but these ones added more background to A’s experiences.

Well, in a for a penny, in for a pound, right? As I read the other two books in this YA series so far, when I saw that there was a short collection that gave a little more taste of A's life of bouncing around from body to body, I knew I had to read it. I didn't realize how short it would be, though I probably should have considering the title and all. I quite liked this "extra" look at A and how they have become the person they are. Levithan has created a really original voice in this character, and I'm happy to have spent some time with them.
