It makes me so happy knowing I read these when I was a little girl. Junie was everything!

The best Junie B jones book I’ve read…maybe the fact I read it out loud to my kindergartner during her last 2 weeks of school had something to do with me actually finding it interesting/worth reading.

Reread today for the nostalgia. So much of my love for reading came from these books. It was just as fun as I remembered.

Still not my favorite, but Junie has grown on me a little since the first one I read to the kids. Both kids (ages 8 and 6) loved it, often laughing out loud despite both having heard teachers read it to them before. Amusing story with the usual Junie B antics leading up to her kindergarten graduation.

It may be a child's book, but something about kids being nice to each other and helping one another out hits me straight in the feels. And I'm all here for the mean Jim redemption arc.

All the children in Room Nine are excited when they get their bright white graduation gowns. Mrs. says to keep them in their boxes until the big day. But Junie B. Jones just can’t help herself. Then–uh-oh!–an accident happens! Can Junie B. find a way to fix things? Or will she have to miss graduation and stay a kindergartner forever?
