Overall, I enjoy everything about this series except the teacher-student relationship... which is the larger premise of the book. I don't want to sound like a hater, but when it comes to forbidden romances, this trope needs to go to its grave.

Still enjoying the build up, but I'm still kinda at odds ends with my emotions and how I enjoy certain scenarios occurring within the manga.

Omg so Mamura's first name -- it's revealed to be Daiki! Reminds me of Aomine xD And his little brother is SO SO ADORABLE. Can I have a brother like that, please? His first name is Daichi and Daichi(papa) from Haikyuu!! immediately came to my mind. Obviously, I'm rooting for Mamura ;D Shisio keeps sending mixed messages it's actually kinda annoying...

I feel like if I was younger I could more easily buy into the teacher-student romance stories, but now that I'm a bit older, I can't see it as anything other than manipulative and abusive. He's cute and young and it's a fake story, but I can't disconnect from all the gross signals I'm getting.

Shes stated multiple times how he acts differently around her. The art style shows this as well. His teacher persona looks very different from his cute everyday look. And the way he treats her is also overly friendly, but he rejects her and distances himself, and then goes back to being close to her.

Thoughts while reading:

Tsubomi wtf are doing dropping into someones house like that? An ex of a teacher dropping by a teenagers house before traveling. Shes kinda trying to set them up in a way. Guuurl no.

Asking couples to hold hands? What is this weird aquarium? Even if its for a couple competition it isn't necessary at all lol.

Reading between the lines his explanation is basically “you make me behave differently and I can’t control myself when I’m with you”. Psht fuck boi

Togyu Minagawa, harassment isn't cute. It isn't persistence. She obviously likes someone else and isn't in the mood.
Also he basically implied ppl who wear eyelash extentions are fake. Get away get away!

Mr. Shishio blushing at her in tank top and shorts. Will this be my last volume? No cause I got another from the library and I feel bad not reading it before returning (I've already done that way too many times). But next time, mark my words, I'm done with this series!

Someone said "I hate that he's leading her on. Yes he may have feelings for her but he knows it's wrong. He's an adult and she's a kid. He would never be in a relationship with her, yet he keeps doing these things. He needs to act like a real adult and set boundaries. When he suspected he had feelings for her, he already should've set boundaries. Better yet, an adult should never be THAT close to a minor if they aren't a relative. It's kinda creepy" y tal cual, hermana.
