it was fine? i feel like we were missing a solid 50 pages of nuance and relationship development

i was looking at the tags for this book… who said it was slow paced? literally how? it’s missing like all of the relationship development that it could’ve had.

3.5 maybe 3.8.
Tw .. violence and suicide. Overall turns into a cute read about redemption.

Incredible - I’m not usually a romance reader but I devoured this book in a day. Loved the quintessential shy girl and tattooed “bad boy” romance, with the right amount of cheesiness mixed in. The ending is a dream. I will have to check out more of Emily Blaine’s works!

Just what I like in a contemporary romance. Bookshop girl meet bad boy actor, we all know the way it goes but I love it! A bit of cheese mixed in with some steam which is always a good thing in my book. I enjoyed the setting & even swooned at the bad boy actor myself! Light easy read.

I enjoyed the cast (especially the supporting cast) and the village life setting. I generally love a tattooed bad boy! A good amount of character development, romance, and a dash of spice.
The writing felt a little stilted at times and I don't enjoy reading the tired 'she's not like the other girls' type narratives. All in all a light, easy read for a busy period in life.

All I liked about this book was cover, I mean seriously false sexual assault allegation is plot....seriously.
