I’m a sucker for mythology books! I’ve been a fan of king author stories for a while!! Adding mermaids and pirates had me sold. it has incredible world building and I thought it was a good fantasy read. It was a unique story with its unique magic system and I thought it was a great read!

TCotS was a riveting book that held my attention with the intricate world building and magic. The characters where interesting and the romance did manage to sink it's hook into me as quickly as it was written on the page. I'm a sucker for good secrets between love interests and oh man, watching this preverbal powder keg explode was so much fun!

An overall fun read that will keep you hooked.
