I bought this from a third party seller on Amazon which I don’t normally do, but it wasn’t outrageously priced and I really wanted to read this so I took the chance and bought it. It came in really great condition.

The art is amazing, and the story is really interesting. I liked this a lot more than the first Sandman omnibus (which I liked some arcs individually more but overall there was a lot of boring arcs in there). Really would recommend for Gaiman fans and people looking for good 80/90s comics and/or awesome painted artwork.

Beautiful scenery, and a nice ride, though quiet. Conflict is easily resolved, so if you're looking for high action, this book doesn't have it. But it's a nice way to pass the time. I liked it.

If it wasn't for the beautiful illustrations I definitely wouldn't have finished this.
So gorgeously drawn, but oh so dull in terms of storyline for the most part. Which is a shame because I really wanted to enjoy this.

The illustrations in this graphic novel / comic compilation were absolutely breathtaking. I found myself lost in the art more than the story. The story held its own as well but the most intriguing aspects of the plot were actually the side characters who famously inhabit the DC universe. I think this journey would be most enjoyable for fans of Gotham who are looking for an interesting side-quest.

This book was beautiful. I absolutely loved the artwork. The story of superheroes as flowers, or flowers as superheroes was very unique. I think I read it like 5 or 6 times before I had to return the copy to the library.

I enjoyed it quite a bit despite being rather un-invested in the characters, which is my only real complaint. It was cool to read about a lesser known DC character and see her/it interact with others like Batman, Lex Luthor, and Poison Ivy.

I am a huge Neil Gaiman fan, but this tale just didn't do it for me. I think part of the problem was the visuals. The text was hard to read and often the contrast was poor. I couldn't sink into the tale because I was struggling with the actual reading. The book could easily have been published in a format twice as large! There was amazing art on some of the pages, and a larger size would also have make it stand out more. I also felt the storyline was a little bit too thin or vague at times.

I'm man with enough to admit that I didn't get this. Seems like it had a message, but it never quite nailed it down. From the art to the plot, I found the whole thing to be murky.
