The storyline was great but it seems the action parts of the book were cut short but the end of the book seemed to be overly detailed.

It has been a long time since I have read a Ludlum book. My memory is not good enough to make a comparison to his other books. This had a good plot with lots of suspense. There were only a few unbelievable points. The characters were pretty shallow, typical for a thriller. One, the CIA auditor, was a lot of fun.

"A spear that can penetrate anything, and a shield that nothing can penetrate." Still ranks as one of the best books I've read. Has similarities with the Bourne series, but the readers will be gripped nevertheless.
