I know this is a series, but this book didn't feel like it was enough to stand on its own. It could have been fleshed out much more. I would've liked more details of the main character's backstory and a satisfying ending with her love interest.
Good thing it was less than 200 pages, otherwise it might have been a DNF.
The main character was kind of immature, eg. Nasty thoughts about others appearances, fatphobia, being mad but also delighted that a married guy was flirting with her, and her lack of communication with the love interest.
It's an easy read though, and if you're in the mood for something quick and light this might be suitable.
