oh so Dark

I’m so shook up by reading this, but also excited at the same time. Chiara is not a weak woman whatsoever . After being trafficked by a dangerous man that everyone feared. She went through so much with killian and his horrid cousin. Nothing but spicy things between her and killian. There was some suspense a heck of darkness and a massive betrayal. There was also some action. This book was amazing please heed the trigger warnings .

Loved this book so much! There is nothing that Killian DeLorenzo won't do for Chiara and there isn't anything she won't do for him...wink wink

Sheridan Anne has mastered the art of the binge read. Both books I have read of hers have taken me less than 24 hours to read. I could not out them down.

Her smut is pretty great. Her characters are engaging and unique. Her writing style is easy to follow and immerses you in the story.

That said…. You have to look beyond the cliche and trope was of it. Yes, these are story lines we have seen before, but she writes them so damn well.

Four stars only because I hate hate hate misunderstanding/miscommunication tropes. For duck sakes just tell him about Sergiu.

4.5 stars!
I enjoyed this one! I feel like the story didn’t beat around the bush. When feelings are felt, they’re known, and it was a nice reprieve from mafia romances where characters try to keep their feelings close to their chest. I enjoyed that aspect of this story. And the revenge, It was sweet! I love a bloody story, and this one totally measured up!

Chiara has the attitude to be the perfect mafia queen, she just needs to realize her own power. Once she does, oh man was it delicious the woman she becomes! I LOVED her transformation, even if I hated what pushed her there. And her confidence in her sexual appetite was unlike any other. Chiara is fucking crazy, and I loved her for it.

Killian has the heart that you wouldn’t expect of a mafia man, he refuses to see it. I loved Killian’s soft side for his Chiara. He was a ruthless killer, capable of mutilating a man, but he always has Chiara’s best interest at heart.

Killian is king, with Chiara as his queen, together they have the potential to run the shit out of the Romanian mafia!

I don't always rate DNF titles, but when I do, it's because there's something irredeemable about the book. Plots change as a book progresses; writing does not. In the first four chapters (~50 pages), characters and events have contradicted themselves multiple times, and there have been more anti-sex worker insults thrown around than I could keep track of.
