Wow! I am so grateful to have read some of Hawking’s work and actually understand it! His explanation for how life could begin without a creator is the first time it’s ever made sense to me. I love that he challenged some of my opinions and taught me new things even after leaving earth.

Those familiar with Hawking's popular science writing will be familiar with his stances on these questions. Still, this book sums them up nicely. It's a quick read. The ideas he discusses do not build on each other like a typical popular science book and some things very repeated, but this is understandable given that the book was a work in progress when he died. It never becomes too distracting.
The afterwards by his daughter is very touching.

A simply stunning summary of the key questions for mankind. Hawking has a knack for explaining complex theories in accessible ways with a quirky sense of humour, and one of my favourite lines was "This is why we don't get sunburn from a cup of coffee".
In a time when the world seems off-kilter for many of us, I found comfort in the certainty and achievements of science discussed here. He highlights the importance of science and our responsibility to address climate change, the future of mankind, the development of AI and the importance of education in a way that makes me feel this should be compulsory reading for all politicians.

Incredible book by an incredible man. It’s had a real impact on me reading this. I’m not particularly scientific (the generation that didn’t ‘have’ to take science) but I’m really interested and curious to ideas and why things happen or can help improve our lives. Also thoughts for the future, AI, our universe. Complex ideas are clearly explained, and at times I had to pause the audio and really listen, either because I didn’t understand initially or usually because it was so much mind blowing fascinating information, that I wanted to take in!

The book is great. I've been studying Stephen Hawking's theories for a while now. And I'm amazed how Stephen Hawking managed to
combine his most famous ones and even mastered to explain difficult theories so that non-scientists can understand them too.
The book is well organized and the chapters build on each other. So you really have the feeling, that you've learned something useful.
At some points I laughed out loud. Hawking's humor is crude and not rarely on his own expense.
Stephen Hawking gave a good overview of important topics which also will influence our future. He built a realistic picture of the future of
humanity.
Even though he is an optimist I somehow got a bad feeling regarding our future and if we can handle all the problems that will show up
The last book of Stephen Hawking is definitely worth reading. It again fascinated me for science, especially our universe, and how our future
might turn out.
