I don't think there is much that Belle Aurora can't do. Every book of hers I have read has been so different from the others it is kind of amazing. I never know what I am going to get when I read one of her books. Night Fury: First Act was a quick fun read. It is not very long and ends leaving you with more questions than when you started. It was an interesting read because from the first page I was trying to figure out what exactly was going on. It was like page one, oh so maybe this is what it is? Next page, no, not that what about this? And so on with it slowly being revealed what Night Fury does. Plus every time you figure something out, you learn what something is, you are left with even more questions about something else you didn't even know about. It was fun, though too short! It just means I have to wait now to see what happens next...

I can't really talk about the plot without giving away something. And that would just ruin it a bit. You wouldn't have the fun of trying to figure everything out. The characters seemed good, but you don't get to know most of them that well. You are left with more questions again as to who they are and where they came from and why they are doing this. It was an interesting read, much different from the other works I have read by this author. Even though I am not sure what to think about what is really going on, what Night Fury really does, I still enjoyed the book. I kept thinking that once I know the whole story maybe I will be okay with it. We shall see. An interesting read. Definitely check out Night Fury: First Act, but be warned it ends in a sort of cliffhanger.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that it was a bit different. I liked the fact that things were a little unrealistic, that's part of the fun of reading. I liked getting lost in this world for a little while. Catarina was totally badass and I can't wait to see what is going to happen next!!

** I was gifted a copy of this book by the author for an honest review **

Firstly, I have loved Belle Aurora's work since I first read Friend Zoned, and have read everything she has released since. I always know that I am going to get something different with her work.

So wow, where to start with Night Fury: Act 1?

I knew from reading the blurb that this was not going to be any ordinary story, and it sure wasn't!!

Actually, for the first little bit I was a tad confused about what was what. Is Cat a nun in training? Or a ninja-like assassin? Seriously, who are these people?!?!?

But once I got sorted who was who and what was what, WTF and WOW!!!

It was fast paced, suspense filled, such an interesting different read.

The only thing wrong? It ended now I have to wait for act 2!!

First Act begins with Cat being let do a new mission. She messed up really badly in the past, but now she is beyond ready. As she continues on with her mission, she meets a new member to the team Marco. She and Marco instantly have an attraction to one another but they both think its best to stay away, except neither one of them is able to. Cat is trying to figure out what her heart wants, deal with the life she has, and move past all the mistakes she's made in the past.. But that's not easy to do..

When the book start I was actually kind of creeped out by it, because I was imagining all kinds of horrible things being done to Cat... Well I'm exactly sure what was up with the prologue, it wasn't explained in the book but I'm hoping it will be later on in other books. The ending was a cliffhanger that left me wanting more, and confused. I'm not exactly sure what to expect for the next book. But this one was okay. It has a really interesting story, with really fun characters.

Didn't Know What to expect but it was good and well written and I immediately flew into the second due to the cliffhanger at the end!

May I just say, I loved that novella! The plot was suspenseful and kept me wondering what was going to happen next! Kickass nun assassins? Wasn't expecting that! Cat is pretty badass and all the other characters just add their own flare to the story. But, that cliffhanger. I will be anticipating the next act with popcorn and a nice, cold soda. And there better be more Marco. Marco is sex on a stick and I thoroughly enjoyed his presence in the book... Better get on that, Belle! You've got a shitload of fans ready to explode from anticipation!
