The twins are very annoying, but I’m also a grown adult that can no longer relate to 15 year olds. I still enjoyed the book. It’s definitely a easy read and can be difficult to put down. I really like the theme that there’s a piece of truth in every myth or legend, and how they’ve incorporated so many historical figures.

I couldn't get my hands on this book during the school year because my students had it. I enjoy Scott's mix of legends, mythology, and historical figures throughout this series and his characters are engaging. A great read for people who have finished Harry Potter and Percy Jackson and wonder what to read next.

My eight-year-old son and I are reading the series together and it had been great fun. The series is introducing him to mythology and historical characters and has sparked some interesting conversations. From an adult perspective, the books are entertaining but, truthfully, I am enjoying them more because of my son's reaction.

This is the best book out of the first two in the series. It has the most action, the most varied characters, and it wasn’t boring at any part. The story is fast moving and exciting numerous times through out this book. There were a couple of surprises in there that I wasn’t expecting. The main thing that drew me into this book more than the first one is the amount of action and the story progression. All of the characters have an important part in the storyline. There are so many fights that happen and so many different things take place in the story. It seems like it could have been too books in the series instead of just one, but I guess that’s a good thing because I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
