Not his best ([b:Thank You For Smoking|40465|Thank You for Smoking|Christopher Buckley|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1169435695s/40465.jpg|1183297] or [b:That's No Way To Treat A First Lady]), but he's never a bad read.

Not my favorite Christopher Buckley novel-- the resolution is unsatisfying, short, and fairly late. The humor, dialogue, and absurdity that's a little too close to reality for comfort are pretty spot on though and an enjoyable weekend read. I'm close to finishing all of his novels and looking forward to the next.

More humorous spearing of politicians, the media and the legal system by Christopher Buckley. Contains a lot of true laugh out loud moments.

I'd rather give this 3.5 stars than just 3, but oh well. Solid read, and I did really enjoy it. Kind of slowed down toward the end, which was frustrating. I do love a good government conspiracy story though!

Christopher Buckley tells the satirical story of America's willingness to believe in this funny novel about alien abductions that aren't to be believed. I really enjoyed this as the author pokes fun at everyone from politicians, media, scientists, and well, America. The book is sadly believable which made it even better. I thought the final act played out too slowly but it was still a good ending. Overall, another funny read from Buckley.

Cool premise but this is clearly written by a boy for boys. Banion is honestly a creep. His way of celebrating not hooking up with a girl on a business trip is to watch a porno in his hotel suite. What a creep!!
