I'm so glad I re-read this on audio so I could appreciate the overall story and not be so focused on the romance. The romance is a huge part, but it is the slowest of slow burns, with only small glimmers periodically. There's a bit of action, and some really sweet moments as well. Yes, it's insta-love of a sort, but their relationship development is beautiful.

Very enjoyable! Although I knew they'd end up together there were certainly many ways it could have happened  nd it was a thrilling ride to see how it played out. A sexy cravat tying never gets old, as well as some "as you wish, my lord".  I thought it was well told and read quickly with short chapters that naturally pushed me to "just one more".
