I've had this book for a while and I've heard about this author, yet I've not taken the opportunity to read this series of books. Now, I'm glad I did.
This story had so many parts in which I could identify with. The main character struggled with something I, and probably many people, struggle with. The pressures of being overweight.
I really loved how this author introduced wonderful healthy things to do to be physically fit. It made me want to try some. I also appreciated the fact that it took work and a whole year to change and also that it wasn't a fast, quick fix.
Like many things in our lives, we need time to heal and change in not only our physical, but our mental, emotional, and spiritual parts of who we are.
This story shows Candace needing those changes and the support of wonderful people.
I want to thank the author for writing such an encouraging story!
I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
