3.5 stars rounded up. I kind of wanted more romance in this one, but it was still a story that kept you guessing. (The actual assailant may have been a small stretch, but still believable).

A perfectly solid historical mystery. Just enough intrigue to keep the plot going, and the characters were fleshed out enough to be interesting. (
I did see the part with the Viscount coming, though; the first thing he did upon returning was fire his entire staff
. Suspicious)

A delightful Victorian mystery with a touch of romance. I’m not an expert but it seemed true to the times. The plot took some twists I didn't see coming, and the narrator/main character is a sympathetic heroine. I look forward to a sequel.

I read an advance reader copy of A Lady’s Guide to Etiquette and Murder.

Just noticed there is a third book available in this series so have decided to re-read books 1 and 2 before starting the third. This is a very amusing series which I have greatly enjoyed. Even the cover illustrations are fun.

Read for Cozy Mystery Book Club and really drawn in by the sassy, independent heroine. I’m picky about historical fiction and wasn’t sure how this one was going to hit me but I think the historical elements were just enough to keep the story in a specific place in time while letting the characters and mystery shine. Looking forward to reading more of this series.

Me encantó!
Super recomendable.
