i read this for school and am completely happy it was on my book list. i really like satire so this book was right up my alley. ive got to read it again and take notes and i bet i will take away even more enlightening and important thoughts about the present and the future state of humanity.

This book was strange. At first I was like hmm this seems interesting but then closer to the end I just get lost. Interesting book but not top of my list

Not everything has held up--some things are more relevant, some did not come to pass or seem a little offensive to modern perspective. Nonetheless interesting to see how certain other pieces are clearly reflecting or responding to parts of this.

Huxley appears to be distracted in this book and falls into many tangents that make me bored and uneasy when reading. His thoughts are conflicting at points and some parts are just unreadable. However some are important and do teach us good and valuable lessons.

I read this in high school and It is one of the main reasons I went from despising reading to now being obsessed with it. this man was on a different planet when he wrote this (he was trying every drug there was at the time of writing this but hmm who knows haha) and the symbolism and metaphors I analyzed for weeks in my brit lit class made me see that in my hands was a whole other persepective of the world and I got to read it and feel it with him. I wish I could read this for the first time again and be as shocked as I was the first time I read it. Yikes!
