I'm not sure I have the right words to describe it. It was everything I hoped for and more. I cried like a baby.

| Really exciting ending to a fun series. I loved that it didn’t overcomplicate or try to make it too complex - really classic fantasy tropes without making it boring or predictable, and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the narrated version by Tim Gerard Reynolds.

What an amazing series! Definitely a new favorite. I definitely recommend this series for fans of fantasy novels, as well as those who might be interested, but feel a little intimidated by longer, more dense works (seriously, these are just as good and manage to tell a great story, with great characters without getting bogged down by extraneous descriptions and minutiae).

What a satisfying ending to this story. This book not only works extremely well on its own, but also serves as a sort of love letter to all the books that came before it in the series. The journey, the twists, the friendships..they all just came together so beautifully.

Michael J. Sullivan has crafted some exceptional characters, forged an extremely well-planned plot, and concluded the series with a bang and a reader’s smile.

I’ve been listening to these books for nearly 3 months, and I’m truly going to miss experiencing this story almost every day on my walks. Fantastic finale to a very enjoyable series!

The first volume was good but, without booktube and friends saying it got better and better, I wouldn’t have continued.
I am so glad I did as it got better and better until the end ! A great saga. I might even read the prequels….
