This was a slow read, but I was along for the ride until the big reveal/explanation. Honestly, that killed it for me. Finished the book but wasn't very into it.

No ha sido un libro para mi. La trama me ha parecido muy repetitiva, el personaje principal me da la sensación de que no ha evolucionado nada a lo largo del libro.
En general no es terrible pero no lo he disfrutado...

I read Winterwood by this author last year and really enjoyed it, so I decided to pick up another their books to try. This books was good, but maybe not what I would have usually picked up for myself. It was like a post apocalyptic Wild West space opera. Vega was an interesting character, and I did enjoy the story, but I really didn’t love the ending.

I'm not sure I was in the right mood to fully enjoy this one, but I think I would enjoy it even more upon re- reading.

"When all is lost, look to the stars"

Unfortunately this was my second and maybe last Ernshaw book for a while. The writing in her stories is beautiful and descriptive, but they lack plot details and setting details.

The romance in this was also pretty bland, personally. I would have liked something more fleshed out instead of something so instant or of the characters having instant feelings towards one another.

The plot didn't make too much sense to me and maybe it's because I listened to it rather than physically reading it, but there were moments where I was confused as to how something happened or how the characters got to a certain point.

Also, why were the chapters so long... it made my intrigue in the book lessen as I waited for a chapter break. There was a bit too much happening in just a chapter which I believe is what made it feel confusing.
