Might be good for forest-themed storytime. Nice colored pencil illustrations.
lighthearted

I loved this simple yet poetic exploration of the changes in the woods throughout the seasons. The soft, gentle illustrations match well with the tone of the story.

Lyrical and pretty. Simple nature read-aloud with stunning illustrations. Highly recommended for ages 4-6.

Stunning illustrations with a textured, etched feel to them, and poetic language which is a pleasure to read aloud. I love how the dog bounds through the pages, never fully seen, then turns to grin at the reader, tongue lolling, on the last spread. It's a beautiful meditation on nature through the seasons, that captures the feel of long walks through the woods perfectly.

I want to pet all these animals! The artwork and the color scheme are a delight to peruse and the poetic narrative contributes to the reflective and pensive mood as we explore the symbiotic relationships that exist throughout the forest throughout the year.

Beautiful language that will spark conversations about our experiences with Nature.

A poetic look at the four seasons in one forest. Children will love finding the dog and forest animals in each two page spread.

An interesting introduction to the seasons, from a forest's point of view.

Someone commented that this would be a nice science introduction for the young and popular for STEM.

Nice quiet story about nature and the seasons.
