Danielle Steel always has exciting ideas for her readers, but, It’s such a shame that this one didn't execute well. I loved the premise, and it was still enjoyable to read. But, It doesn't feel like it was her’s usual writing. It lacks complexity and emphasizes the characters' emotions like she always did in her other books I’ve read. And it was repetitive since she mentioned similar phrases and sentences repeatedly. If I didn’t know before that this book was published in 2020, I would think that this book was from her earlier career.
Graphic: Death and Death of parent
Moderate: Pregnancy and War
