Thank you Grand Central Publishing for my free copy. My thoughts are my own.
This was laugh-out-loud hilarious! It's more or less a brief history of the world...in 244 pages. I wish I had had this book in high school--I feel like world history class could learn a thing or two about how to engage people in potentially dry subjects. Even the index made me laugh, which I think is a first for me. Her know-it-all-yet-simultaneously-utterly-uninformed-while-somehow-being-spot-on voice is unique and precious and I need more. Now to go watch her Netflix and TikTok content to see what else I've been missing...

I love the Cunk mockumentaries, and this book provided many welcome and expected chuckles as I read through it (though sadly not enough references to the Belgian techno hit, 'Pump Up the Jam' by Technotronic). This book also has a funny index, and I am a sucker for funny indices. A fun, satirical romp that cheered an otherwise dreary day!
