The way this book had me in a chokehold within the first couple of pages. Conner just got into my book-boyfriend club. He may be a notorious playboy but the romantic in me says I could change him. Lol. He is used to women flaunting themselves at him so when he comes across Lexi, who does not swoon easily at his feet, he is intrigued. Not to mention, she had the nerve to steal (for good reason) from him. Lexi is sweet, kind, and caring but will not be bossed around by Conner.
When they are forced to work together to clean up Conner’s playboy image, the tension between the two is so good. The back-and-forth banter and bickering are so hot, not to mention the spicy. It was heartbreaking to see how Conner chose to deal with his health issues and how he handled Lexi when he felt betrayed by her. I am happy to see their HEA although I would have loved for him to have grovel. I 100% recommend this book if you enjoy an enemies to lovers, billionaire romance, forced proximity, and a sassy FMC.
I received this as an eARC and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I am providing an honest review for an E-ARC of this book.
Billionaire romances are literally one of my fave tropes, and Rosa did not disappoint with this one!
Immediately I'm in love w the MCs; both are trying to do their best to just get through and I love how real that makes them. Their banter is top shelf and their relationship is even more so. I loved how even though there was a third act breakup, there was TIME between the breakup and the resolution. I don't know that I've ever come across that and it was so refreshing. Also, the family dynamics were just *chefs kiss* and the beach scene had me SNORT laughing, especially after the tidbit was added in the epilogue

I gave this book a 3⭐️ because I felt like it was dragged out too much. At the beginning it was really going to be a 5 star but then I just felt like the author kept adding more chapters that weren’t necessarily relevant to their story line.
I did enjoy the romance aspect and that the main character had a health problem which I enjoyed reading about.
