I just feel like the author could’ve made better choices regarding the conflict. Shock value is great when it pays off but having one crude line repeated throughout made it hard to want to finish this book.

I couldn’t put this down and read in one day. Really powerful story that dives into the complex relationships between mothers and daughters. This book does a great job highlighting the struggle of women across generations and the importance of women friendship.
