WOO HOO! This broke the mold! No crazy ex lovers/husbands, no lives in danger, no stalking, no Christmas proposal. I can't even remember someone being told they kept their light under a bushel! I did get a wee bit weary of Liv's constant ridiculousness, but overall it was another great Chase book and a deviation from the first two in all the right ways!

I really wanted to like Chased, and while it was a good story overall, it also annoyed me so much that it kept me from really liking the book.

I liked both characters in past books, but when it came to their own book Liv and Marc annoyed me. I didn’t think they were right together and had a hard time with their relationship because of that. Marc’s personality was grating at times and Liv was so unsure of herself and wishy-washy that I felt like it was a completely different character instead of the same friend from the past books. I think Liv and Marc would have been better off just friends and ending up with other people.

For me, the best part of the book was catching up with Maggie, Kyle, Shane and Cassie.

Loved Marc's story

Loved Marc's story. As the youngest of the Chase brothers, he has lived in a shadow that no one sees but him. He thinks he finds a kindred spirit in Olivia. Now he just has to catch her because she runs from anything resembling a relationship. Loved watching these two fall.

I didn't like this book so much, I don't know if the season may be found in the characters, that I didn't particularly appreciate, or in the story (from friends to lovers) that has not been my favorite topic ever. I will probably read the next book because is the last one, but I appreciate the fact that the brothers were "only" four.

THANKS NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!

It is a little strange to me that brothers don't mind their sibling dating their previous partner from a previous relationship, but whatever. I just think it would be awkward for a lifetime.

The Chase Brothers are back and continue to capture your attention. This time Marc is the one who will throw caution to the wind and take a chance on the one person he shouldn’t, Liv. Lauren Dane takes us back to the small town charm of Petal and once again pulls you in. Marc Chase is known as the ladies man and the one who wont ever settle down, but can Liv change all that? And Liv doesn’t know if she can get over not only Marc’s reputation, and that he is Matt’s brother, but can she trust that he has changed his ways? They will have some road bumps along the way, but if they are able to trust one another they just might have a chance at a future together.

Pretty much an ordinary run of the mill romance. Nothing spectacular
