You’ll laugh. Roll your eyes at Tilly’s antics. Fall for Zack. And smile a LOT.
Tilly thinks she’s in love with her best friend so she’s determined to ruin his wedding. Enter Zack. The bride-to-be’s EX. Tilly’s partner in crime. She wants to get Zack back together with Sarah, the bride to be. But soon Tilly sees Zack as much more. Can’t get more complicated, can it? Oh yes it sure can!
First off, you can’t really like Tilly. She’s selfish. She’s trying to destroy her best friend’s wedding. She’s a self-described liar. And she’s an absolutely delicious mess of a character!
Then there’s Tyler. He falls madly in love within weeks after meeting Sarah and asks Tilly to be his “best woman”. You really want to kick him. Wake up buddy! You’ve had a devoted woman right by your side for YEARS who adores you! Nope. Doesn’t get it. Does he deserve a happily ever after? Nah. I say we should let him suffer.

“Everything in me knows it’s home.” How was I not supposed to give this book a five stars??? I know there’s a saying that you can’t outdo the original but this book gave me the same buzz as My Best Friend’s Wedding did! Tilly nothing short of insane BUT her growth throughout this story was so amazing to watch. Her craziness and brazenness in the beginning when conducting this plan was literally hilarious. Like she absolutely knew she was a villain and as the book continued and the guilt started eating her away you saw her true heart. Tilly and Zack from the first interaction had me. I was screaming for them to finally realize what they had and drop the crazy plot. Like this is feeling that I crave from resonances just utter delusion, I LOVE IT!

I really enjoyed this arc. I was slightly distracted by some grammar nuances/typos in the second half of the book, but a light-hearted feel good surprise romance storyline was totally what I needed. I feel like I need a Ricky spinoff. I predicted the ending and appreciated that the author did not disappoint. Coming soon - September 15. Read this book!!

Super cute story and a very fun read. If you didn't like Julia Roberts in My Best Friend's Wedding, you'll hate the main character of this book. She's not super likable but has a full character arc where she learns her lesson and has a break through.
I loved the banter but the romance felt rushed to me. I also despised Tyler and Sarah - ugh. They were obnoxious.

This was such a fun palate cleanser. It is a twist on My Best Friend's Wedding with a HEA.
Tilly has been Tyler's best friend for years and had patiently waited for him to see her as the one for him. When he announces a quick engagement, she decides that breaking up the wedding is the way to make him see reason. She joins forces with the potential bride's ex with the hopes that they can succeed together.
Tilly has to see the signs that have always been there, as she dedicates herself to her plan. While this is a romantic comedy, Tilly undergoes some fantastic growth and maturity throughout the book. Her connection with Zack shows her what she should be looking for, and she has to be brave enough to see it.
Such a fun read!

Tilly is secretly in love with her best friend Tyler, but Tyler has announced that he's marrying Sarah, a girl he's only known for a few months, and someone who's completely wrong for Tyler. So Tilly decides to recruit Sarah's ex-boyfriend, Zach, to help her break up the happy couple. Oh Lord, what could go wrong? And what will happen when Tilly starts having feelings for *Zach*?
With a title like "How to Ruin a Wedding", you already know that this is going to be a big crash and burn. Author Sophie Andrews does a decent job, though, of bringing some nuance to the characters of Tilly and Zach (though not as much to the characters of Tyler and Sarah). I was concerned that this was going to move too far into formulaic tropes, but Andrews managed to keep it from going overboard.
