Cannot recommend this book enough! I literally read it in a day. It is amazing! It has you hooked from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. Keeps you guessing and a great ending!

I felt like this book hooked me in enough and had me guessing. It felt like there was such small details scattered through the beginning and middle and then the end just rushed through to finish. There seemed to be things missing from the end of the book.

I didn't dislike The Innocent Wife, but it was quite a bit slower than I anticipated. Also, I listened to the audiobook and the narration switching between British English and a Texan accent was a bit jarring. That being said, the story was engaging and the writing polished. Ultimately, I did guess at the ending, but it was still never boring. I would read another book by this author in the future.

This is the story of a (purportedly mousy) woman who writes to and falls in love with a (super dreamy) convicted murderer on Death Row, and then he’s released, and (not a shocker, not a spoiler) she figures out he’s maybe not such a great dude after all.

It’s like getting inside (but not too deeply) the minds of the Ted Bundy fangirls or the Frances Drummond/Tommy Lee Royce relationship in Happy Valley.

A woman starts writhing to a man on death row, taking a holiday to visit him and then he is released. I really enjoyed the way the story played out.

I’m torn on how to rate this. The first half of the book had me hooked, although the initial relationship between Dennis and Sam seemed too forced. But the “buildup” was pretty repetitive and the ending felt rushed- although I did like the way it ended. It was far from perfect, but it was a quick and entertaining read

Not a single one of these damn characters is likable in the least but hot damn! is this a readable book!

Yeah, I hated it at the same time I liked it. It certainly kept my attention.

A British school teacher falls for a death row inmate in Florida. Charged with the murder of a young girl when he was only 18, he has spent more than 20 years behind bars...until now.

This book was very intriguing and kept me on the edge of my seat. At some points I felt like I needed to yell out loud because the characters were not doing what I thought they should be doing! However, I persevered and am very happy I did... such a great read.
