girl online series by zoe sugg
+ yes, ive been rereading the girl online series again because it's my comfort book <33 it reminds me of when i still had my innocence (if you could call it that) and i feel like penelope, or penny, is my best friend. so it was sort of like visiting her? this series is basically just my comfort zone.
+ super light and easy to read. but also filled with so many important topics. anxiety, homophobia (how one gay best friend has to deal with this problem every single day from his own parents), marriage issues, cheating, sexism, backstabbing friends (Megan the MegaBitch) and how fame can really get to your personal life.
+ it was so nice to see penny's growth as a teenager to a young adult throughout all these three books. from being an anxiety filled girl, afraid to take chances, to a teenager going on tour with her rockstar boyfriend while also feeling alone at the same time, to being comfortable with doing everything all by herself, prioritizing her worth, leaving negative people behind and working towards her goals and passions.
+ i would definitely recommend this to anyone. it's so good and i'll definitely want my daughter or son to read this one day (that is when the time comes lmao, it's still a freaking LONG way).

This is the book series that got me into reading. It's a great book for pre-teens. It's got excitement, fame and teenage struggles. I read this a long time ago but still remember the butterflies it gave me as I read it. I highly recommend it for pre-teens looking to get into reading and are into internet fame and drama.
