Well, things are finally coming to a head! Interesting to see what Ferid is up to, what vampires actually are (or at least how they originated, with what hints we're getting now), the reveal that Yu's demon is the queen's brother, and the build-up to whatever Guren is about to do.

WHAT??? So many characters are starting to become connected in really interesting and complex ways, and I love it! And we learn a little more about Asuramaru in this volume that shocked me! I love the direction this manga is going!

This is an ongoing series so this review is likely to contain spoilers for the previous volumes and of course the current one I'm writing about.

Final warning!!
Spoiler
In a bizarre but interesting turn of events, Ferid Bathory has managed to convince the entirety of the Shinoa Squad to join him and Crowley on a trip to Osaka, though he won't tell them why exactly. He gives them a hint that it's going to show the truth of how 'the calamity' occurred but that's all. I loved this pairing simply because you knew reading that no one trusted each other but at that moment they had no other allies. It makes for great reading and a massive amount of tension. I just kept thinking that someone was going to snap.

I also loved how we got introduced the vampire nobles from around the world. They are just as extra and flamboyant as the ones from Japan. I liveeed for it. They seem to hate Ferid just as much as everyone else which he revels in. He remains a favourite character of mine.
