The kid knocks off a star because she wanted all the pixies to be tricked in one book.

This series is what got me into reading over 20 years ago. It’s not meant for me at 30, but we could always use a little pixie dust.

This series was one of my absolute favourites as a child and I'm so excited that I've found them!

I was gifted an ARC to read and review with my boys. They really like the Dragon Masters series so they were excited to read this one. My 5 year old loved this book and he can’t wait to read more books. My 7 year old liked the book. And was able to read it on his own, but prefers dragons. I really like the story and how it’s easy to follow. It’s long enough book to transition from little kid stories to chapter books. My 5 year old loved how each page was some little excitement that really kept him engaged and asking “oh boy what’s going to happen next!” Will be sure to get the next book in the series.

Another amazing series from Tracey West. I'm so happy we started reading Dragon Masters and then moved over to this series while we wait for the next Dragon Masters book! This is a great premise for a series, a fairy that has to hunt down some tricky escaped pixies! The first fairy they hunt down is a fun one, a pixie who makes everyone play with him forever! I like the way this problem is solved and the characters as well!

And so in 5-year-old Cat a baby fangirl was born.
Not much to say. These were the first chapter books I ever read and the first books I remember falling head over heels in love with and in love with the characters. I remember thinking Violet was so grown-up (eight years old!) and wanting to be just like her. I remember adoring Sprite with everything in me. I'm 21 now and I don't think these books have seen a re-read since I was about 7, but there's still scenes I remember with perfect clarity, from the first book right through to the last.
Basically, top-notch children's literature. I don't even know if these books are still in print but I really would recommend them for young readers (5-8 maybe, depending on the kid) and their parents.

A sweet start to an early chapter book series, very much along the same lines as the Rainbow Magic Fairies.
