An incredibly emotional ending to the Green Bone Saga... I loved it. I feel like I've heard that people didn't like the ending to this, but I really felt a sense of peace with everyone. I did cry, but what else is new with this series. (Said entirely with love.) I wish I could live in Janloon forever, honestly.

The first 2 books were ok. 3-4 stars. By the time I got to the third book I found that I just stopped caring about ANY of the characters. The kaul family is just as bad as the ayt family. They just aren't good people. I am curious enough that I will look around for play-by-play spoilers but it just feels like rehashing the other books. Why can't the Kaul family have a "good" family member that isn't blood thirsty. At the beginning of the series I had hopes for Shae because she was smart enough to remove herself from a toxic family but she came right back with little hesitation. I could rant on and on but I know I am very much in the minority so rant over.

This final book in the Green Bone Saga is quite the feather in the cap. It takes place across multiple decades, showing our characters age and come into their fates, making choices that put them at odds with each other, showing long time plans come to fruition and falter. I particularly like how this final instalment shows the begrudging respect between rival clan members and how military industrial complex and international governments impact Kekon. I can’t recommend this series enough

This book was amazing -- and I loved the entire series. The characters, the worldbuilding, the plot, the actions and the fight scenes, and all the emotions it made me feel. I love this series spanned over twenty years and showed a few different generations.

The conclusion the Fonda Lee's "Greenbone" saga left me staring in the air for a solit 15 min, not know what to do with myself now.
This was phenomenal. What I particularly liked about this, is the fact that we follow our main characters well into their late 50s, early 60s and how their attitudes towards the Kekonese clans, expanding business abroad and what thw best way forward is. There's absolutely heartbreaking parts that end up bringing balc good to the communities.
What stuck with me most, was that we ended the Trilogy like we began. One of the No Peak Greenbones meeting there relatives for Brunch at The Twice Lucky.
Just please go read the Trilogy. Of you're into political intrigues, politics, action packed fighting scenes and keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat twists and turns, the entire Greenbone saga is for you.
Can we please get this adapted to a series?
