Great read that had me hooked right from the start. Plus who doesn't like a second chance romance. Grace and Reed parted ways Lon ago, but now both are back in town for the time being. Those flames of attraction flare up once again. They have the same dilemma Reed is staying in the small town and Grace wants to go back to the city. I liked watching them reconnect. One of my favorite things about the book is Grace and her family. They rib on one another, but you can fell how close knit they are. This is definitely a book you don't want to miss.

Let me start by saying that I loved the backstory and how Grace and Reed are from rival highschools. Their past relationship was sweet and fun, but it ended a little badly. When they are both back in town, sparks start flying and everybody gets behind them to get back together... Although not everybody knows this is a second take.
I loved Grace and her sisters and everything about this new town.

I'm always excited to start a new series with a favorite author. Most of the time that means I get to meet and fall in love with a new group of characters. When the author is Melissa Foster, I know that not only will I meet new characters, I'll also get to catch up on old friends and watch some of them fall in love. That is exactly how Embracing Her Heart won me over. While Grace (whom we met in Foster's previous new release) is reunited with her love, readers are treated to the whole Montgomery or Jericho families, all characters I know I'll fall for in future books.

I've read and review quite a lot of Melissa's books so it's pretty obvious that I adore her writing style. Instead, I like to pick a word or phrase that describes the book. For Embracing Her Heart, the phrase is actually a quote from our heroine, Grace. In a pretty heated conversation with Reed, Grace says to him, "Don't ask. Know." This can sum up any number of Melissa's books, but with Reed and Grace they were meant to reunite. They never have to question their feelings because they know it's love and that this is it for them. I love that there's never any doubt that they were going to be together, which is one of the elements I adore in Melissa's romances. Grace and Reed were on the same page from the very beginning and they never let doubt get between them. Yet another fun and sweet romance from Melissa Foster, one that I devoured.

I received an advance copy. All opinions are my own.

This is another fantastic book from Melissa Foster. Grace Montgomery and Reed Cross were secret high school sweethearts until life took them in different directions. The emotion, and the heat, are off the charts. A heart warming second chance romance that will give you all the feels.

As settings go, Oak Falls is an out of the ballpark hit! It's not just the sassy women and hot guys. It's the whole feel. As a reader it's like you've found home...the people populating the town just happen to make it even better. I love the idea of a second chance at love - and there's no one I'd rather see go through it then Grace and Reed. Major life changes at the same time as your first love which bring you back to the same town? Sounds like fate to me, but not necessarily to Grace. Watching Reed try and get her heart to overtake her mind is absolutely spellbinding.

This was advertised for free on my kindle. The details of the romance was apropos to my life (reconnecting with a lost love years later). It's a feel good tale where Grace reunites with Reed after 10 years apart and decides to give up her life in the big city choosing love over career. There are some cringe worthy moments but overall it was a fun bit of eye candy.

I love a good small town novel. This book did not disappoint! Two high school sweethearts parted ways and found their way home. Though they were living in different worlds as adults they found their way back together and realized that they just couldn’t live without each other in their lives.

Y'all, why did I wait so damn long to read a Melissa Foster book? I loved the characters and the setting, the romance and the family relationships. Reed and Grace's second chance romance gave me all the feels.
