I got like three new insecurities by the fifth page that I wasn’t even aware existed before I started reading. Overhead lighting… really??

Also the swearing is tiring and the illustrations aren’t pleasant. Maybe that’s the point idk. 

Anywho I’m sure lots of people will appreciate the sentiment that this book gives. I am not one of them so toodles.

Well, Floss said it best...it IS imperfect. I stopped counting after 10 typos. It was reductive on the self-help/spiritual front. Repetitive front to back. Self-obsessed in a way that makes a book not matter to the reader. It read like there was a character quota to meet, or maybe it was meant to be a pretty coffee table book. 

There were a few compelling parts...a couple ideas that will stick with me. But overall I was very unimpressed especially given I was the one who put in the purchase request for the library to buy it.

Should have been a DNF but it's early in the year and I'm still reading for sport.

A little repetitive but overall a great read! Its a woman/more friendly version of the Power of Now
