Found it very repetitive, and almost patronising in the way it was written. Ended up ignoring the text and just looking at the illustrations.

Would have been amazing for Me from 20 years ago and would be amazing for lots of young women out there. Current me has already read lots around these ideas.

I finished this book but it was a struggle. Very repetitive and swearing for the sake of swearing. I don’t mind the word fuck but I feel like she uses it the same way a young teenager does when trying to sound cool and edgy but they know they might get told off by their mam. It feels like it was written from a place of entitlement, telling people to just go out and get their delicious life. This isn’t a woman who’s had to work a minimum wage nightshift job to make ends meet. She lives deliciously not in the breadline. And that’s absolutely fine but made it less relatable to me. Not everything about the book was bad, I did like some ideas such as a “mind bench” and I thought a lot of the illustrations were pretty but in general this feels like it was written by a young woman who who is just discovering herself and has just discovered feminism on TikTok and has chosen to write a book about it. I genuinely wonder how she’ll feel about this piece of work in years to come.

Aesthetically beautiful hard copy book. Florence’s take on self love is inspiring, down-to-earth and refreshing. Easy to absorb and centred on joy!

Loved the concept of this book, fantastic for self development and personal growth. Despite being only 26 the author raises some very wise thought provoking points and subject matters that you’d expect from someone older.
I really enjoyed this book, it was like listening to and having a hug from a best friend. To top it off, the illustrations are beautiful too.
