This book felt really rushed. Or maybe I rushed it. It just seemed like a lot of things that should have been major plot points and dwelled over for longer we’re just skimmed.
For example, America’s dad dying, her being shot and the whole penultimate scene didn’t seem to have any major lasting effects on anyone, she didn’t even seem that sad when her dad died
. There were some cute moments and speeches however predictable they were and stuff I’d definitely heard elsewhere before but it was kind of sweet all the same. Tbh I think I’m just over this series now and it was just nice to have something quick to read. I think these books may have made me realise I’m done with YA for the most part though, I think I’ve grown out of it and next year I’m gonna try and read some more advanced books and try and read them a bit slower too.

DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE BOOK IN THE SERIES (the main trilogy at least). I absolutely adored it. it made me cry :( for the sad moments and the super fluffy ones. and I just loved it so much.

I love Maxon. if my future mans isn't like him, I don't what it.

also... Celeste... loved her so much. I absolutely hated her in the first two books but this one made me love her so much :(

Aspen... I didn't really like him in the beginning of the series for some reason... but he REALLY grew on me. I had moments in the previous books where I disliked him and then liked him and then disliked him again but I loved him throughout this entire book.

this book also had at least two moments that made me gasp so hard, (in one of them I actually screamed "what the f*ck" on the train station while waiting for my train, so that was fun and totally not embarrassing........)
