I love Maxon. if my future mans isn't like him, I don't what it.
also... Celeste... loved her so much. I absolutely hated her in the first two books but this one made me love her so much :(
Aspen... I didn't really like him in the beginning of the series for some reason... but he REALLY grew on me. I had moments in the previous books where I disliked him and then liked him and then disliked him again but I loved him throughout this entire book.
this book also had at least two moments that made me gasp so hard, (in one of them I actually screamed "what the f*ck" on the train station while waiting for my train, so that was fun and totally not embarrassing........)
Moderate: Death, Gun violence, Violence, Blood, Death of parent, and Murder

It feels weird, like there happened too much in the last few chapters and then on the other hand not enough. Where's the explanations for nearly everything that happened in the end?
This review sums up everything I'd say about this book.

CELESTE IS AWESOME! She's officially the best character ever, August and Georgia are officially the coolest couple ever, Clarkson is officially the worst dad ever, and Shalom is officially the best dad ever. And, as always, the best suffer the most. Ofc the characters that I actually gave two shits about all ended up dead. Anne, Amberly, Shalom, Celeste... ugh she deserved to live. Clarkson can go die, though, no one cares about him. Although his death was a little too convenient, I'll let it slide.
The girls bonding was very cute, I liked it. The dance on the rooftop when it rained was pretty cliché. FINALLY the whole #TeamMaxon or #TeamAshton came to an end. There was only ever one answer, obviously, one was made to be the true love and one was made to be an obstacle. Maxon's solution to the caste problem is actually pretty good, ngl. Aspen and Lucy fit way more than Aspen and America. Marlee and Carter are pretty cool too, the first casteless citizens. The wedding scene was cliché, but what else would you expect.
Now I may be wrong about this, but why on earth would they go to the trouble of exposing how illogical the Selection is, only for them to continue it in the next book? With their CHILDREN at that. I pushed through three books to finish this, cuz I'm not a fan of DNFing unless I'm really bored by it, but yeah you won't catch me keeping up with the rest lol goodbye Queen America Schreave.
