I enjoyed this children's book. Parts of it reminded me of Hive. While Hive is more of a teen thriller (sort of) this one had a message of being true to yourself, to your friends, and the love of family.

This book has been one of the best book that i have read because i loved the fact that it is based on normal people who have abilities that are most defiantly abnormal.

This book is a Beehive nominee and it sounded interesting (a little like X-men). I made it to page 80 and I just could not read it anymore. The writing irritated me (especially the dialogue) and I just could not get into the story.

Ahhh, YA fiction I could read again! I loved the cadence of the conversations. The heroine was charming and someone I could believe in. This book took me places I didn't quite expect and brought me home in positive ways. I was sad that the setup for a future book was so obvious but it was a minor point for me. Now if I could just figure out how to fly....

Great book to read with my 8 year old! I was genuinely as excited to get back to reading it each night as he was. Well-developed characters and full of suspense without being too scary.

Slow start, but it got better; skewed too young for me. The pacing was a little off too. Slow start, but it got better.
