I love this author's books! I always enjoy reading about countries and customs which are foreign to my own, and this book takes you to far Northern Sweden, and also back 100 years in the past. The protagonist, Rebecka Martinsson is very likeable and the other characters in the book are well-drawn and believable. The plot is well developed, and keeps you interested right to the end.

Love this series with lawyer Rebecka Martinnson as the lead character and the developing friendship with police inspector Anna-Maria Mella. The landscape/scenery of Belgium weaves through the storyline with exceptional intrigue. I am a big fan of books made into tv series/movies and am enjoying this tv series, Rebecka Martinnson.

FYI: graphic rape/murder (sexual homicide) and a dog is killed - like not just killed in passing, but the dog is pretty much a character you've grown attached to so it's extra sad.

As with all Larsson's novels, a solid Nordic noir. I've enjoyed this series, but Larsson has hinted (or maybe flat-out said at some point) that the fifth Martinsson novel will be the final.

Another great Kiruna mystery, ho-hum. But I can't believe she killed the dog.
