I was hooked from the beginning till the end. This was a really fast-paced book, and I enjoyed the tension and stressful situations the characters got into throughout.

I didn't care much for Chloe and the slight love triangle/square that has been introduced in this book, but I did like Cub. He seemed like an interesting character (even though he was there for only a couple of chapters).

I didn't see the ending coming though, and I'm already opening the third book because I can't stop myself.

I'm enjoying this series, although it is a bit unbelievable. The main characters are great. I really do enjoy each of them for their own reasons. The whole story is quite simplistic however, and even the characterizations are very simplistic. Again, this is definitely meant for a young audience (middle school maybe).

Ok. This is what I thought the first book would be more like. Its a story that has been done before, but its still intriguing enough to blast through it. This book like the first also had weird gaps in time, but the story was good enough to ignore it, or maybe I just expected it this time, that I didn't notice. This was worth getting through the first book to read. I am moving on to the third to see what happens next in this series.

I’ve changed my mind, I’ve decided I do not like the series. It’s like those really bad Sci-Fi channel movies? Except a novel, and for teens.
