Super enjoyable book; you quickly learn to love the characters even with their flaws. Covers a lot of critiques of wealth/wealthy people, and dabbles a little into critiques of race-based discrimination, but does occasionally miss some angles of the conversation. That, of course, could be due to the make-up of the characters who are growing into a deeper understanding of the world and how people outside of their bubble are treated, but it also felt like it might be the author leaning a little too hard on stereotypes. There is also a bit of a white savior complex that comes out at the end, but that could also be part of the flaws that only the reader is supposed to pick up on-showing despite all the growth the characters went through during the book, there is constantly more learning to be done and growth to undergo. Overall, I did not expect to like this book as much as I did!

I couldn’t really get into the physical copy when I tried reading it, so I ended up listening to it on audio. The writing was alright and the characters were somewhat interesting. Nothing really exciting about it. Just an average read for me.
