I choose this book to review because I wanted it for my 3 and 4 year old children, and I'm not sure its the right book for this age group. It has a beautiful, heartwarming message about parental love, the gift that each child is from God and Gods eternal love. But it dose have some dark themes in it, such as death, monsters, negative situations your child might face. I think if you have an older child who is able to grasp these messages then you should check this book out. It just might be your new family favorite book! As for my family I will tuck this one away until my children get older.

Max Lucado's new book, "Just in Case You Ever Wonder" is a delightful children's book teaching them about God and about his love and the family that he put them in. It helps kids see and understand their fears and then understand their parents' roles in their lives with those fears.
It also deals with success and failure and how no matter what your child does, their parents still love them unconditionally. The illustrations in this book were beautiful and I loved the message. I would definitely recommend this book.
I received this eBook free of charge from Thomas Nelson via NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review. I did not receive any fiscal compensation from either company for this review and the opinions expressed herein are entirely my own.

One of my very first pictures books about parental love for their child. Throughout, they remind the child of how much they love her, and how much God loves her, "just in case you ever wonder". Very valuable and I'm so happy my parents loved me like that.

This Is a very sweet book about how a parent will always be there for there child. It also emphasizes how God wants the parent teach the child about Him. I will be sure to get this book whenever I have a child of my own.

Although Just in case you ever wonder is available in various formats I'm reviewing the ePub version. This is a nice little picture book that tells of the love of a parent for their child. It includes illustrations by Tony Goffe.
Children need to feel protected, they need to know you love them and that you will always be there for them. That's what this book is all about. It shows them that they are special and unique and that as they grow and change you will always be there for them.
It takes you from the parents thoughts on seeing the baby for the first time through to when the child has grown up.
A heart warming book ideal for bonding with your child. I personally recommend it for smaller children though (max 5 years old).

Illustrations are a little odd and it's very repetitive which makes it a little difficult to read. The message is really beautiful. Discusses God's love and parental love.

Another eBook for my kids. This one was a big hit with my reader.
From the publisher: A timeless children's classic by best-selling author, Max Lucado, that reinforces the love of a parent.
There are certain words that every child longs to hear . . . affirmation of unconditional love, promises of support, and words of encouragement. Just in Case You Ever Wonder wraps your children in its tender message of love, comfort, and protection, showing them that as they grow and change, you'll always be there for them—whether it's "monsters in the closet" or hard times when other kids are mean. Beloved author, Max Lucado, helps express unconditional love for a child—simply, powerfully, and forever.
My reader has been asking to read this book every time we're in the car (which isn't often). I love that she loves this book. This girl of mine has regular nightmares about her loved ones dying and being left behind. This book speaks to her heart about losing loved ones and about loving those around you. Every time she reads it she picks a new favorite page. She even figured out the Kindle by reading this book. This is definitely a book that I am going to be keeping on hand for those moments when she feels overwhelmed by her feelings. Max Lucado really wrapped it all up in this simple book. I enjoyed reading it as much as my second grader did. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who may be having separation anxiety or be hurting the loss of a loved one. I would recommend it for all ages because it's so simple and concise. It gets right to the point and does it in a way only Max Lucado can do.
