Oh, my little jealous Perry who would’ve to thunk it. We see Charlotte and Perry get married and their amazing Mexico honeymoon. Perry can’t let go of the past and all Charlotte wants to do is focus on their potential future as husband and wife. When they drop their shields with one another this arranged marriage looks almost like A love match. Can't wait for the conclusion in this trilogy.

"That's the problem. She's the most valuable thing in the world. My world. The Chevelle isn't my most prized possession. My wife is."

The Ruthless Groom is the 2nd book in the Arranged Marriage series by Monica Murphy. It picks up right where The Reluctant Bride left off. I LOVED this chaotic side of Perry. I think this man has NO idea how to deal with his feelings for Charlotte and I loved seeing him out of control. Charlotte opening up to him was so lovely to read. The smut in this book is IMMACULATE. The two are honeymooning in Mexico and get VERY creative. AND THE CHEVELLE SCENE. Just WOW! This book was lovely and I am so excited to continue their story!

I could not wait to get my hands on this book because after the first one things were really starting to not only heat up, but also intensify. Perry and Charlotte’s relationship was in name only, but the more time they were around each other they found themselves growing an attraction for each other. The miniscule amount of trust they have for each other started out shaky and they are both warned to not let their guards down for each other, but when a blast from the past shows up that little bit of trust is obliterated. Perry’s attraction toward his now wife confuses him because he doesn’t believe her, yet he can’t fight what is brewing between them and Charlotte knows she is falling for him which she knows isn’t what he wants, but there is no stopping it. Can these two ever fully let each other in and build something real or are they doomed to be distrustful always looking for hidden agendas? Will those who oppose them win in the end or will Perry and Charlotte fight for each other? This series has been emotional, intense, and very suspenseful that I devour them every time. Also, that scene with Perry and the Chevelle was so hot, I love Perry so much. I can’t wait to see where the story takes us in the next book.

Oh how I loved these two! Monica Murphy is easily one of my top authors. She never ceases to amaze me. All of her characters are uniquely their own. You will never find another like them. Perry and Charlotte are that for me.

Seeing their feelings grow, was my favorite part of this story. Yes there were some points where I wanted to shake Perry, and have him see the way Charlotte is feeling and to believe her! They are one of my top favorite couples in the midnight dynasty world and I just want them happy together forever! Haha

I definitely cannot wait to see what happens next!

Where do I begin? Book one left me craving book two, The Ruthless Groom. And this part did not disappoint. An arranged marriage between two strangers, neither of whom trust easily (especially Perry), and a love-hate line that is walked very carefully creates one heck of a read!

Family loyalties are tested, and an ex of Charlotte’s makes a sketchy appearance upsetting Perry to the point he keeps tabs on her and ups security. Charlotte is an innocent who has learned to mend her broken heart and to look after herself, which may possibly come back to bite her in the next book (my suspicions).

But the ending of this left me screaming! How could the author do that and leave me hanging? I mean, she wrote this story so well that I NEED book three NOW (but I HAVE to wait… ugh!).

Fab installment to the journey that is the story of Perry and Charlotte. Eagerly awaiting book 3. One-click NOW!
