I enjoyed his book even though it's not one of my favorites, but I do recommend to read if you are a Nicholas Sparks fan. On the plus side, there is a happy ending. :-)

I was honestly invested the first 150 pages but after that Miles went berserk and it was too crjme focused for my liking. Oh and the narration style was weird af

Probably the first suspenseful novel of Nicholas Sparks' collection that I've come in contact with; I wanted to hurry and find out who was behind what had happened, and just when Sparks has us thinking Miles has found who it is we realize something isn't right about this suspect. Finding out in the ending was supremely surprising, though I don't think it was necessary for Miles to act the way he did towards Sarah. All in all, the suspense and ending were awesome!

Very, very good novel, beautifully written with the typical touch of Nicholas Sparks.
I would highly recommend this book to most people, as it is not just your average love story. This is haunting and will leave you thinking after.
Does it have the typical Sparks love story? Yes. But this time, he adds a touch of what reminds me of Jodi Pilcout.
